1000 Series Transmissions

1000 Series Brings superior performance of electronic controls from 6 to 11.8 tonne vehicle GVW. The engine and transmission communicate by a powerful microprocessor providing precise, perfectly timed shifts whatever the road or load conditions.

Standard features include lock-up operation in second to fifth range and helical gearing for reduced transmission noise.

4000 Series Transmissions

With high horsepower and torque ratings making heavy duty commercial vehicles more productive and easier to drive. With Allison electronic controls a 4000 Series can adapt to operate efficiently in a wide variety of conditions for superior performance in severe applications. Programming options can be set to prevent gear engagement, whilst the auxiliary equipment is in operation.

Off-Highway Series Transmissions

Off-Highway Series: The 5000, 6000, 8000, and 9000 Off-Highway Series transmissions are used in applications requiring 298 kW to 1678 kW (400 to 2250 horsepower) engines. Applications are diverse and include oil-field pumping and fracturing units, off-highway trucks, agricultural tractors, and winch units such as those on derricks and cranes. 5000, 6000, 8000, 9000 Series transmissions utilise manual or automatic electronic controls.

Dal-Trans Allison Exchange automatic transmissions are meticulously remanufactured to precise factory tolerances with quality new and second hand Allison parts. Trained and qualified technicians using Allison-approved technologies and manufacturing processes, rebuild the Allison transmission, to deliver the service life and quality at par of a new unit.

No Surprise Costs
Many transmission rebuilders won’t give you a cost or credit until the transmission is completely torn down. It’s then that they discover hidden costs that increase the price of your rebuild. At the request of the customer, Dal-Trans can provide an upfront quote for an exchange transmission, that way customers are completely aware of all costs.

At Dal-Trans Pty Limited we have three (3) categories of exchange transmissions in our range.

The Blue series transmission

(Painted black with a “B” marked on the ID tag).
Features will include:

• Fully overhauled transmission using good quality reconditioned parts.
• New bearings & bushes where required.
• A chemically cleaned cooler
• No core charges apply.
• Fully dyno tested.
• 12 months “no fuss” warranty

Dal-Trans full Spec exchange transmission

(Painted black with a “FS” marked on the ID tag).

Features will include:

• Fully overhauled transmission using new plates, bushes, bearings & solenoids
• A chemically cleaned cooler
• Fully dyno tested
• 24 months “no fuss” warranty

Dal-Trans Complete Package Transmission

(Painted black with a “CP” marked on the ID tag).

Features will include:

• All the features of the full spec transmission
• 36 months warranty

* First synthetic service free of charge

*Nb: Service to be completed within 2 years of date of purchase and at our workshop. If transmission is in a country area then the service will be done when Dal-Trans are in that area otherwise Dal-Trans will supply oil and filters.

• For all Dal-Trans rebuilt P.T.O’s a twelve (12) months “no fuss” warranty is offered on all parts and labour.
